The Big Blakcberry Transplant

This is a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air with your family and transplant wild blackberry shoots from their usual position in the hedgerows at Five Trees Bowlish, to the new edible footpath. This footpath crosses over 2 acres of land and has full public access 24/7, meaning that next year you’ll be able to literally eat the fruits of your labour. Local walkers have told me what a lovely flavour these well-established blackberries have. They are sharp and have tightly formed drupelets which makes them perfect for making your Winter jam!
